A porchlight means someone’s home, and you’re welcome. That’s what a good local salon feels like — and what its software should feel like too.
Porchlight started with a simple observation: the software running New Zealand’s salons charges like a payroll tax. Per staff member, per month — so the reward for growing your team is a bigger software bill. We thought that was the wrong thing to charge for.
So we price the way a good landlord does: one fair rate for the whole place. NZ$59 a month covers your entire team, up to eight staff. We don’t take commission on your bookings, because they’re your bookings. And your client list exports to CSV any time, because it was never ours to keep.
We’re NZ-based and building Porchlight with a small group of early-access salons and spas around the country — real floors, real Saturdays.
