The Porchlight service is provided by Webenchant Limited, a company registered in New Zealand ("Porchlight", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Porchlight's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, and you are contracting with Webenchant Limited.

2. Description of Service

Porchlight provides appointment booking software for service businesses. Our services include online booking, calendar management, client management, payment processing, and SMS/email reminders.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Send spam or unsolicited communications through our platform

5. Payments and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Prices are in NZD unless otherwise stated. You can cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into Porchlight. Your client data belongs to you, and you can export it at any time.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Porchlight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you will have the opportunity to export your data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
